On the festive occasion, GRT Jewellers has made a donation worth ₹ 96,41,000 to two notable organizations that are working towards serving the society.
One of the institutions to receive aid of Rs. 61,63,000 is The Child Trust, Nungabakkam, Chennai, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare and support to underprivileged children. This contribution was towards the purchase of Bronchoscope drying cabinet, Anesthesia workstation, OT Light, Patient warmer & Video Laryngoscope, medical equipment for the operation theatre.”
Concurrently, Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai, the first ISO 9002 certified Eye Hospital in Asia and a not-for-profit missionary institution for ophthalmic care was also handed over a donation of ₹34,78,000 for providing vision care treatment for the under privileged. This contribution was made for purchase of Humphrey field analyzer (used for identify the type of vision defect) an Ophthalmic equipment used for vision care treatment.”
